We're a team of researchers at Seattle Children’s Hospital studying concussion, and we want to know if an exercise program can help young people get better more quickly.
Who is eligible for the study?
Youth 11-18 years old who had a concussion and still don’t feel better and their parents
What is involved in the study?
Study procedures include:
Answer survey questions at several time points
Wear an activity meter for one week at the beginning and end of the study
Be given an exercise program and asked to complete exercises
Check in with a research assistant weekly by video-conference or phone
Study activities will take around 4-6 hours over 6 months. Time spent exercising will vary based on participation. Payment is provided of up to $350 per participant and $150 for parents as a thank you for participation. If you complete just part of the study you will still receive partial payment

DETAILS:
Your child must have a diagnosis of concussion in order to be a part of the study.
No in-person visits are required.
All participants will receive an exercise intervention.
A research assistant will walk you through the details of the study to ensure it is a good fit for your family.
You can decide to stop the study at any time.
