We're a team of researchers at Seattle Children’s Hospital studying concussion, and we want to know if an exercise program can help young people get better more quickly.

Who is eligible for the study?

  • Youth 11-18 years old who had a concussion and still don’t feel better and their parents

What is involved in the study?

Study procedures include:

  • Answer survey questions at several time points

  • Wear an activity meter for one week at the beginning and end of the study

  • Be given an exercise program and asked to complete exercises

  • Check in with a research assistant weekly by video-conference or phone

Study activities will take around 4-6 hours over 6 months. Time spent exercising will vary based on participation. Payment is provided of up to $350 per participant and $150 for parents as a thank you for participation. If you complete just part of the study you will still receive partial payment
